Letter from June 22, 2015

So... this week has been so amazing! By far one of the best week of my mission! We had mini missionaries with us all week!!! They were so incredible! We saw so many miracles with them! God really does answer our prayers. We were super nervous to get minis because we heard how hard it is to have minis but honestly, our minis where the best. We would go on splits all the time and just see so much GRACE!
Monday we had a district Fun day and that was so much fun! We went to Davju park and saw and incredible view of Cincinnati! I love it here so much! It was so pretty! It was super hot though so we were nasty the rest of the day. It is so fun with 4 people in our car the entire time. We had FHE with B and F tonight and they made us dinner and we had steak! It was so great! I love them so much!!! Then we got to finally see A. I have missed her but it has been great to get back in contact.
Tuesday we did a lot of service which is always fun. We are cleaning our new church building but it doesn't look like I will be in it before I leave so coming back to a regular church building is going to be weird. We had great lessons all day and then dinner at the Curtis' which is always so incredible! I love them so much! There kids are the cutest! I got to spend a little more time with Sister Robertson (our Mini) today and she really is remarkable! She is a convert and just so amazing! We also did gardening at the Lawal's this morning! This ward is so incredible! I love it here! I wont say that enough!
Wednesday was a day full of miracles! We had district meeting in the morning teaching us about chapel tours and Elder Halstead our District Leader committed us to having a chapel tour with an investigator this week and so we said we would do our best... we don't have any super progressing investigators and so we were a little nervous but with the Grace of God... we got a chapel tour that night! It was remarkable!!! We took G down into the baptismal font and invited him to be baptized and he really really wants to!  SOOOOOO COOL!
Thursday we had zone weekly planning so that was fun and then we just had a great night with lessons all night long! It was busy but great!
Friday was also another day of lessons but honestly it is like everything just worked out! The Lord really does provide a way! We didn't know how we were going to do it with the minis but we did!
Saturday morning was really sad because we had to send our missionaries home:( I was so sad but I would have more time to get ready in the morning. Saturday night we had a baptism to go to and that is always fun especially because it was the HH ward so I got to see so many people.
Sunday was a very non stressful day and that was relaxing! Things are going really well here. we are now just trying to find people to progress
Today we are having a zone fun day with the Cincinnati Zone

My week has been remarkable! We have seen so many miracles and it has just been so fun!
Monday we had a Zone Fun Day!!! We hung out at the church and just had a really good time. We played sports and that is always my favorite! I played one on one with Elder Halstead and that was so much fun! He is my DL and  he is one of the best DL I have had! Then we had a FHE with this family again and that went well.  Then we got to see S and she is seriously killing it! She is the best Recent Convert! So on top of everything! She is reading the Book of Mormon like a champ and she is just great!
Tuesday we had a busy day. We were on exchanges with the Cincinnati Sisters so I was with Sister Nielsen and Sister Holtz was with Sister Carnahan.  We had good lessons that day though and did a lot of service. I actually got to mow someones lawn and that was fun! Their lawn mower was the coolest thing ever!
Wednesday we had District Meeting! I always love meetings. I learn so much! We had a pretty great day full of adventure. We are working on building our teaching pool and finding solid investigators. We have been doing really great though! I have really seen a difference in myself and Sister Holtz this transfer! We are also getting along with the Elders. I know they are going through some things but I do love them! They are great! I really am serving around the best missionaries ever right now!
Thursday we had another exchange with the Highland Heights sisters.  I get to go on exchanges to Highland Heights on the 30th to say goodbye to everyone. The missionary there is planning the day around me. hahaha hopefully the Shuley's will be home.
Friday we had interviews and because we are the STL's over the entire stake we were there for both zones. We were there from 7:30- 3:00. It is always fun hanging out with missionaries, I didn't get to be interviews by President though because he is meeting with me in the next few weeks for my departing interview... CRAZY!!! I get an hour with him though! I did meet with Sister Porter and she didn't realize I was going home and she was really sad about that. That night we had dinner at a members and we really helped them out! Very Spiritual!!!
Saturday we had a mini missionary MTC and we went and got our MINIS!!! Sister Tensmeyer and Sister Robertson! They are amazing! We have seen so many miracles with them! Finding solid people and just having fun! All 4 of us go out to work together but we may start doing more splitz. Saturday night we had Stake Conference as well as Sunday and then we just visited people and set Return Appointments. It really has been such a great week!!!! We have had so much fun and getting work done! I love being a missionary so much!!!

This week has been sooo crazy! Because we are over 2 different zones we are always on the go.. That is really no different from before but it feels a lot more crazy now.
Monday we had a very relaxing P-day and I actually got to take a nap! After p day was over we went and had a FHE with the Ogdens. Brother Ogden is not a member and he has been going to church actively for 15 years... crazy right! We are hoping to baptize him soon! Then we went to the Lawal's for dinner! I love them all so much! They take such good care of us! Then we went over and visited Sister King with Sam. Really successful day!
Tuesday we had leadership council! It was so much fun! I love leadership meetings! Of course, I had to share my testimony in front of everyone there because President picked me but that is ok. It was a really revelatory meeting and I really learned so much! We didn't get home until about 6 and that night we had dinner at a members and we spent most of the night there just talking to her and making her feel better.
Wednesday was a walking day again which are always so stressful but luckily the ward is very supportive and they drove us around a little bit.
Thursday we had Zone Meeting with the Northern Kentucky Zone and it went really well! This zone really is the best! Everyone is so awesome to each other and we really just have so much fun! We did another activity about humility and we blind folded our missionaries again and they really go something out of it! Our meeting went longer than expected and after our meeting we had to meet with the other zone leaders in the Cincinnati Zone to plan another Zone meeting for Friday. After all of our meeting we did end up having a good night! We had dinner with the Bludworths and we found out that we will be getting mini missionaries! I am so stoked! not this week but next!
Friday we had The Cincinnati Zone Meeting.  After Zone meeting we actually did exchanges with the Lawrenceburg Sisters and that was so much fun! I was with Sister Alley and she is the cutest! They are the sisters that are going to keep us sane this transfer! We had a lot of fun. Our plans didn't go the way we expected but we still saw miracles. We had dinner at the Herzners and that is always so good. Then we went to a baptism. The elders investigator was getting baptized and guess what I had to do... A freakin duet with Lorin! She sings so amazing and me... well not so much but it went well. Haha I never expected to have that much guts on my mission. I have learned to have confidence haha.
Saturday we did a lot of service. We were going to go to the temple with T  but she had to cancel but that is ok because God needed us somewhere else.
Sunday we had a good day at church ! Fast and Testimony meetings are always the best! I feel so at home in this ward and I love it here so much! I seriously love being a missionary.
This week is going to be crazy again. We have 2 exchanges, interviews which we have to be there ALL DAY because we are over both zones which is the entire stake and then Saturday and Sunday is stake conference! It is going to be great! I get to see everyone from Highland Heights again,.

This week has been pretty great! Nothing too big.
Monday we had a zone fun day and that was great! We played basketball, which I never turn down!
Really, this week has been full of fantastic lessons and our investigators are progressing. We had 42 lessons this week. That is the best I have ever had. This coming week is going to be really crazy though! Tomorrow we have Leadership council Wednesday we are probably doing Zone Meeting for the NKY Zone. Because we are over 2 zones now it is kinda crazy but it will be good. Thursday we are going to have a crazy day! We are doing the Cincinnati Zone weekly planning and we are supposed to be doing exchanges with the Highland Heights Sisters so it is going to be interesting.... Not sure what is going to happen there. Friday we are doing exchanges with the Cincinnati Sisters  and that is going to be fun. I love being a STL but there is so much to do.   I do love missionary work so much though! I wouldn't trade it for anything. Sorry you don't have a huge long email this week but I will do everything I can to write you a letter.

My week... Well the week before transfers is usually a bit nerve racking.... But our week went really well!
We are super exhausted by the end of it though...Here it goes:
Monday: Relaxing P-day. We just kinda chilled and went shopping with S and talked with Sister Bjarnson about the Dress Your Truth. After P-day was over we went and helped and investigator who was moving clean her house (service #1).
Tuesday we were really just busy with lessons all day! We are working with this young girl named T but unfortunately her birth mom won't let her get baptized yet but she really wants to so we are going to be working with that. We also visited a lot of less actives that we are trying to reactivate.
Wednesday we had District Meeting and we learned how to get more motivated and how to be more bold when we extent things, especially baptism with a date.
Thursday we went and visited a lady in the hospital bishop had asked us to go visit. She was super sweet! Then we had more lessons. We had a RS dinner that night and it was really good! We gave a chapel tour to S's mom and it went well. She isn't all for religion but we will get her:) she is so sweet and incredibly hilarious!
Friday morning Sister Neal came over to our apartment at 8:45 and curled our hair... just because she wanted to see how it would look. Then we went from 10-1:30 to help our little miss Edith Perkins(98) move. She is so cute but she tries to do it by herself. (service #2)son after but then felt prompted we needed to go back and help Edith because we didn't want her doing it on her own. We then had dinner at the King's and I always love going over there! Then we went and helped Marie  pack because she is moving. (service #3)
Saturday we helped Bro. P cut downs trees and burn them from 8-10 then at 12 we went and helped K and M move then at 3 we went and helped Tr pull weeds and then we had dinner at the bishops and it was kind of a party and then at 7:30 we went and played corn hole with B and F  with the Elders... Actually we were with the Elders all day! They really are my favorite! (service #4,5,6,7)
BUSY WEEK OF SERVICE!
Sunday we had a good day at church! Sunday are never really relaxing days for missionaries.... very stressful but it was a good day!
