Sister Training Leader

Dear Family, I wanted to let you know that this week or at least the last two days have really been the best ever! Christmas was really incredible, it was different but nice. We had multiple devotionals and the Spirit was felt all day. My favorite part other than emailing back and forth with you was our devotional with Elder Bednar. He gave out cell phones so we could text him questions and then he would answer them, it was really inspirational.
Another part of the week that was great was Thursday. Actually, I woke up and I felt horrible. I was really tired and I felt like I looked horrible and it just wasn't my day. I was wrong. It was my day. The morning went really fast with gym and everything. After dinner, we got to teach our "investigator" again. He is progressing so well. He is the one I committed to baptism. As we were walking out, a real investigator came  up to us and started asking us questions and so we pulled him aside and started teaching him. We were late for dinner and class because of it, but it was worth it. Class was great. I  then got to read my letters from all of the family and I was so happy, I really cried with joy. I seriously cannot believe how blessed I feel we all are because of my choice to serve. That day was a testimony builder. I love you all so much and miss you all. One of the sisters in our district got really homesick and she is actually leaving today:( She is really amazing. It is sad, but it is what is best for her.
Anyway, I got my flight information. I have to be ready to leave the MTC at 4:35 AM on Jan. 8, 2014. My flight leaves from SLC at 9:50 AM. I will email you on Wed. Today I found out that I am going to be a Sister Training Leader now. A Sister Training Leader helps the zone and district leaders and helps with the new missionaries. We get new missionaries in our zone on Wed. I am excited I have the Spirit enough to be a leader. I am also getting a new companion. I really have learned so much! It is crazy here, I have never been so close to the Lord.
I know the church is true! There is no doubt in my mind. I am excited to help bring people to Come Unto Christ.  I love you so much! Sister King      Please keep writing, I love getting letters and helps me cope:)

I miss you so much. I think about you all the time but it really has been great here. Don't worry about me. I am doing fine. It is really hard being away from my family but the spirit is so strong here and I know I am doing the right thing.  I get to email you today because my P-day fell on Christmas so I get it today and Wednesday. How lucky am I? So I do get to write you on Christmas as well. I have the most amazing teachers. One is Brother Hixon and he is so nice and so willing to help and the other one is Brother Ikahihifo and he is hilarious!!! He makes all of us laugh so much and have fun. My district is amazing as well. We all get along so much and it really is so much fun. We all sit together at meals and just talk. Yesterday we had a very spiritual day. We had Sacrament Meeting in just a room and that was way different but it was nice. It was just with my Zone.  My companions are also so wonderful. They have helped me to grow so much. My testimony is definitely strengthened. One of my companions, Sister Porter, reminds me of Hannah Earl.  My other companion, Sister Wight, is like a mom. She shows so much love for me and supports me with everything. She helps me when I am feeling down or if I don't understand something she is always there. She is a convert and had a rough life but she seriously is so amazing. Yesterday my Zone all walked to the Provo Temple in the snow and it was so much fun. We all laughed and have a great time. I am going to send you pictures. The ones with me and my companions, the one with the dark hair is Sister Wight and the other on is Sister Porter. I hope the family is doing ok. I miss you all so much.  This first week has been rough, a ton of personal study time but it really is nice. I saw Jacob Carter once and Landon Arnold is also here and I see him often. There was 783 missionaries that came when I got here. So crazy!!! Well I love you so much,  please stay strong. Don't cry and don't worry too much about me. I am doing just fine.  You are always in my prayers.  Love you so much.  Tell everyone to write me. I would love to get letters. Tell Grandpa I love him. I will write more people once I get the hang of it. I now know where I am going around campus but I still am not sure of the schedule. Waking up early and going to bed early isn't really too hard. I am getting used to it. I even did my own laundry todayJ

Dear Family, I am here! I am at the MTC. Today, December 18th, 2013 was such a great day. I started out with a sister missionary and got all my papers and books I needed. The sisters were all so nice. I pretty much threw my bags in my room and was on the go. I went to my zone room and met some other missionaries. We had orientation to try to understand what was going on. We had dinner, steak, potatoes, rolls and all you can eat ice cream. My companions are great! Sister Wight is from Idaho and Sister Porter is from Morgan, Utah. After dinner, we had free time to unpack. At 5:45 pm we met everyone in the main room and split into groups. We had three different scenarios and they were amazing. They were investigators and I felt the spirit so strongly, it was seriously so amazing. I didn't say anything out loud, but I spoke quietly with my companions. We then met as a district and took a tour of the campus. My district presidents name is President Hatch. He and his wife are so awesome, I really had such a great day. I miss you all so much. I have a lot of work to do, so I will keep busy. I love you all so much! You mean the world to me and you are in my prayers all the time. Please write often, I love getting letters!
